Six of Sacramento’s major community organizations are coming together to create an all-ages Community Fun Day at Maple Neighborhood Center!
Sacramento Adventure Playground, La Familia Counseling Center, Inc., Powerhouse Science Center, 916 Ink, Crocker Art Museum and ARTners partnering for a day of “free play” with science, technology, art, engineering, creativity, and, most of all fun.
Music, scavenger hunts, fort building, hands-on art projects, word games, mud play, tree climbing, the Crocker’s Art Ark, poetry-making, imaginative play, resource booths, food, and more!
Family Event: This is a family event for youth of all ages. No youth drop off (except for registered youth at the Adventure Playground following regular standard policies for the Playground).
Food/Drink: Concession featuring hot dogs and water will be available. Participants can also bring their own food and beverages. No alcohol.
Location: Maple Neighborhood Center, 3301 37th Ave, Sacramento. Corner of Franklin Blvd and 37th Ave, just south of Fruitridge Road.
Parking: Limited street parking is available on 37th Ave. More parking is available on 36th Ave. Overflow and main parking at St. Rose Catholic Church/St. Patrick’s School 5945 Franklin Blvd. Please use lighted cross-walk at 38th to Franklin Blvd.
