Donate & Support

The Adventure Playground needs contributions of time, materials and money!

Volunteers are often needed for Community Days (held on the second Saturday of the month from February to November) and special events to help out at craft and building stations. Example of past volunteer stations are creating music instruments from junk and kite-making. Volunteering at the Adventure Playground is also a great opportunity for clubs. Volunteers must be fingerprinted before they can work directly with playground participants.

A volunteer application will be posted soon.

Clean and usable materials – from cardboard and wood to tools and fabrics – are always needed for the Adventure Playground. See our list of needed items. Donations can be accepted at the Playground during our regular operating hours. To make a donation outside of the regular hours, please call (916) 222-3831 to schedule a drop off time.

Monetary contributions are needed to operate the playground. The benefits of contributing depend on the level of support and range from acknowledgement at the site and in Fairytale Town publications to special invitations to programs and events. To make a contribution, please visit Fairytale Town’s donation site. For more information on contributing, please call (916) 808-7060.
